Kachori is especially celebrated in Rajasthan and across North India, with regional versions built around spiced lentil, onion and other savoury fillings. Rajasthan Tourism identifies kachori as an integral part of the state’s cuisine, including famous pyaaz and mawa variations.
Kachori is enjoyed throughout the year, but its warming spice and crisp richness make it particularly loved during the monsoon, winter and festive seasons—often alongside hot chai, chutneys and pickles.
Our Kachori Masala is designed to give savoury fillings the layered aroma and warmth associated with classic Indian kachori. The blend brings together complementary spices in a convenient format so home cooks can build flavour consistently while adjusting salt, heat and filling to their own recipe.
Kachori has been part of Rajasthan’s snack culture for generations and has travelled widely across India, developing local forms along the way. The masala tradition lies in the fragrant spiced filling at the centre of the pastry; our blend is intended to make that flavour easier to recreate at home.
Use Kachori Masala in dal, pyaaz or other savoury kachori fillings, or experiment with it in stuffed parathas, samosas, roasted potatoes and snack mixes. It is a versatile savoury spice blend; any nutritional or ingredient-specific claims should follow the final formulation.
